In fact, the browser must query a DNS server, a kind of directory provided by your Internet service provider.  This DNS server then takes care of finding the IP address of the server on which the desired website is hosted and downloads the site data to be displayed on your screen.

What is not said is that your Internet service provider has the ability to identify all the sites you visit.

Step 2: In the General section, press the Settings button.

Step 3: In the popup, select "Enable DNS over HTTPS", then configure the DoH resolver of your choice.
